Can you help with emergency work?

Yes. While Hart Property primarily deals with non-urgent repair and maintenance work, we can also help with emergency repair work on your home, whether it’s emergency plumbing, electrics, or anything else urgent, simply give us a call and we’ll be there ASAP.

What type of things can you help with around my house?

We can help with everything from basic handyman tasks like fixing some flywire right through to complex kitchen and bathroom renovations, and everything in between, including specialised work such as electrics and plumbing. See our services page for a full list of things we can help with around your home.

What areas do you service?

We serve a wide range of communities in South East Melbourne. If you are outside of this area and are looking for service, just let us know: we may be able to make special arrangements.

How soon can you come to my house for non-urgent work?

We’ll visit your home within 3-5 working days from the time you make a booking.  You can call us first to make a booking for a free, no obligation quote.

Do I need to pay for my own materials?

Yes. We provide the tools and expertise needed, and if you have a minor job there is a chance that we have a small screw or common component required, but we do not include material cost in our pricing packages. We are happy to help customers choose the proper materials to purchase for our jobs.

Do I need to be home?

Preferably you will be at home unless you can leave a detailed description of what’s needed and can leave a key in a secure place arranged previously.

What if I need recurring handyman assistance?

If you need assistance on a recurring basis, please give us a call to discuss your needs and we can make arrangement to suit.
